Brief Overview:
A Sunrise Site Director will be responsible for the management and coordination of all afterschool and summer program activities at one or more of our K-8 locations, under a grant from the PA Department of Education. Sunrise provides literacy, social-emotional and STEM programming for youth in grades K-8 at a Philadelphia public school. The Site Director will be responsible for all operations at their assigned site(s) will serve as the main point of contact for all partners and contractors, recruit families and students, and work with staff and administration to ensure successful implementation of programming in accordance with grant requirements and program guidelines as defined by the Sunrise administrative team. This is a grant funded position that reports directly to the Director of Program Quality. The Site Director will work approximately 40 hours/week.

Job Responsibilities:
- Coordinate program logistics and schedule
- Manage relationship with host school to ensure use of spaces, etc.
- Practice open communication with program staff, instructors and partners to ensure successful implementation of program activities
- Work with supervisor to hire and train staff
- Work with a Lead Teacher to help design, write and implement - Project Based Learning (PBL)
- Run monthly staff meetings on-site
- Work with Sunrise administrative team members to ensure all reporting and invoicing requirements are met in a timely, complete and accurate manner
- Ensure the proper completion of attendance records daily
- Ensure that students are enrolled to meet available space on rosters
- Ensure the proper completion and maintenance of student and staff files
- Ensure staff accurately complete payroll sheets; submit payroll records in a timely and orderly
fashion
- Maintain a current inventory of all supplies and work with administration to order and replace needed materials
- Attend organizational meetings and conferences as needed
- Provide friendly, professional service to all visitors, volunteers, clients, school staff, students, parents and monitors
- Communicate with parents / families as needed to address behavior issues, and refer out when issues require additional services or supports in coordination with the Director of Youth and Family Services
- Using positive behavior management, ensure that all students are participating in all activities safely
- Ensure safe arrival and dismissal procedures for students
